While the 105th Winter Carnival was taking place down in Steamboat today, we were having our own powder carnival up on Buffalo Pass. We may not have been towing behind horses like the kiddos down on mainstreet were but we certainly were enjoying the countless cat laps we were getting. Throughout the day we were ripping the 6 inches of overnight powder while also getting free refills in the relentless schmattering of pow that was getting delivered throughout the day.
If you are reading this, go downtown tonight to check out an amazing fireworks display. Rumor says its going to be a big one.
