Full Day in The Backcountry
All systems were a go today as we ran both an Avi I class and a backcountry tour trip in addition to our two early season Snowcats.
Another cold start to the day was short lived once Mr. Sun came out to play then we ducked into the trees to find the sweet sweet stashes of untouched powder. Cat “B” even got be the first group of the season to ski one of our super playful lower terrain runs that had some primo snow as well as a sizable rock drop.
Snowcat “A” was made up of a father-sun pair and a big family with cousins, nephews, and Dawn, the 79 year old grandmother, whose definitely still got it! I can only hope to still be skiing once I reach that point in life!
Hopefully more snow tomorrow!!
