Transition Day
Two rocking crews out in our traditional terrain having fun, slashing the pow, meeting new friends and just crushing the Buffalo Pass snowcat vibe. Our Level III cat was canceled around 11:00 am due to big winds messing with flight schedules and airplanes. Oh, the hassles we face in our snowcat world. It was a big let down for this crew as the snow today was fast, creamy and easy turning.
Our weather was a transition day. This is when we shift from sunshine we had yesterday to our next round of storms. We started getting snow after lunch and there was about 5″ by the time we got down. Now that’s a huge swing and a major transition.
Thanks for playing gang. What fun we had up on Buff today. Let’s do it again tomorrow!
