Sunny Spring Time
Though we hoped and prayed that winter would just stick around until June, we’ll happily take mid-March as our first real sighting of spring weather. Fortunately, we are still experiencing some pretty low temperatures overnight which are helping keep our snow alive for a little longer before the sun pops out. The one main benefit that comes from the sun-bake during the day is the increase we see with snow safety. As the snow goes through the cycle of melt/freeze the molecules bond which “locks up” most all layers of snow making it very stubborn towards any movement but is still surfy for your enjoyment.
Don’t count all your spring chickens yet, folks, we’ve still got a slight chance of some late-March snow next week!
