Shutting Down for the Season
As of today, Steamboat Powdercats is closing our doors on the 19/20 season due to the obvious reasons. Last night the Governor of Colorado issued an executive order requiring the closure of downhill ski resorts due to the presence of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in mountain communities with limited care capacity. We feel it prudent that we do our part and also shut down our operations.
Thank you for your understanding during this delicate time in our world. We appreciate your patience as we do our part to help stop the spread of this virus. We recognize that this may impact your travels and enjoyment and apologize for the inconvenience. We initially thought that we could stay open and cure coronavirus by taking people cat skiing, but it isn’t the case.
We are now in the midst of contacting all of our guests who have existing reservation to discuss the process of crediting monies to next season or refunding. Again, thank you for your understanding and willingness to visit us. We will be back next year.
Please email us or call us at 970-879-5188 if you have any questions.
Until then, stay safe, enjoy your family and keep the faith.
