Greetings folks! Powder Pan here reporting from magical Buffalo Mountain land. Golly gee! Today was absolutely incrediboo! Skiing powders is rad! Feeling super grateful to have had the opportunity today to be out on slidy sticks wigglin and gigglin while snappin picturetography for all the awesome powder hounds.....
We are now two weeks into our season and the days are rolling. Our smiling, happy faced permagrinned guests have made the team here at SPC giddy with guiding glory. There has been lots of laughter, great conversation, tall tales, comic relief and rocking tunes in the cat. We all take it to a higher level once on the snow and savor turn after turn after turn after turn in the pow.
There are many reasons why our days at Steamboat Powdercats are super special. The snow, the terrain, the views, the people are just a few of the myriads of reasons why every day is precious here. Our daily adventures and experiences spent together on Buffalo Pass can be life changing as well as milestones in our lives. We get it all the time from our guests.
Our twelve guests and six guides enjoyed a gorgeous bluebird day out powdercat skiing here on day #3. After a cold start this morning, the sun came around and provided a stellar view of the resort ski area and the western end of Routt County.
What a way to kick off Steamboat Powdercats 35th season. We have the full band back together with 2 cats out, 10 staff on the snow, Rex and Phil building roads and a clean slate of freshies for us to destroy. Coincidentally today is also the Winter Solstice, along with the Ursid meteor shower and the Full Cold Moon. How fitting it is to blast off this season with such a magical alignment of mystical and cosmic powers.
After 8 months since we last ran our snowcats with you, we are now fired up and ready to launch our 35th year of Steamboat Powdercats operations. Tomorrow we will be taking our first guests out for season. We are soooooo ready for this day to begin.

We are doing it again folks, our fleet of Armada JJ's that we have had the past 2 season must go. We have 155, 165, 175, 185 and 195's available. Cost is $400 per ski with demo bindings. $50 for shipping or pick them up at our office for free.
